About Donation
Helping Hands Day (HHD) is a community-focused Inclusion Ghana event where volunteers help member organizations of IG to complete a 4-5-hour project they would not otherwise complete due to lack of resources. Hundreds of individuals from organizations large and small spend the day cleaning and painting vicinities of selected GI MOs, building, reading, or playing with the persons with ID.
Who Is Involved?
Volunteers come from corporations, charities, local government, small businesses, media organizations, youth clubs, schools, families, and friends.
- GI then links organizations and projects together and manages the process.
- GI arranges a site visit to the member organizations with a team leader of the organization and finalizes plans for the project.
- The cost of supplies and materials may be underwritten by the organization or shared between the organization and GI.
