This programme is ideal for companies like yours that have a corporate culture demonstrating concern about wealth, education, health, and general welfare of Ghanaians. It offers a simple, effective, and highly visible way to engage all employees in giving back to your community. With a small contribution deducted monthly from staff salaries, your organization can collectively make a significant change in the lives of persons with intellectual disability.
It is built on an extremely successful model used by Newmont Ghana Gold Limited that boasts of over 3,500 of its employees participating in their Workplace Giving Program.
- With a little effort, you have a program that mobilizes your entire staff to participate in your social responsibility programming (the objective is 100% participation but anyone is free to opt out at any point).
- Inclusion Ghana presents carefully selected and screened members within its constituency, supervises programme development and execution to ensure that the felt needs of PWIDs are met.
- We continuously monitor and evaluate members and their use of funds by keeping your organization informed.
- Inclusion Ghana informs your staff about the process and communicates with them throughout the campaign. We also communicate program successes to the public.
We match and consolidate gifts from other corporations working in the same community to make a meaningful difference in the lives of PWIDs of your community.
With only 50 participating employees and an assumption that each employee contributes GH¢ 0.50 a day:
- Daily Contribution: GH¢ 0.50 × 50 = 25
- Monthly Contribution: GH¢ 25 × 30 = 750
- Annual Contribution: GH¢ 750 × 12 = 9000
We have an annual contribution of GH¢ 9,000.
